If you’ve read my bio page, you already know that I used to shoot weddings and portraits full-time. And surprisingly, the lessons I learned from a decade of camera work still applies today—like learning to read the energy of the room, pitching ideas, directing and coaching models (and non-models), winning and pleasing clients, art directing stylized shoots, and crafting deals with media companies (like ABC, Good Morning America, and Brides.com).
